It began with lessons at home
William Wilfred Maliya began teaching a small group of students at his home during the long school holiday: late July, August and the first two weeks of September 2024.
As a pastor, he saw capable young people struggling to continue their education because of poverty. In his account, many families could not afford expensive schools, while places in government secondary schools were limited.
Bright Future Private Academy grew out of that need, with a purpose of making good education more accessible and bringing hope to students who might otherwise lose the opportunity to learn.
